InFOCUS / Compassion International Program Uganda.While working in Uganda, Dr. Ian Berger noticed that none of the school children had glasses. Once the children's vision was assessed by InFOCUS optometric consultant Dr.Christoph Langwiler, and Dr.Berger, they found that nearly 30% of the children needed glasses! Imagine the loss of productivity to the country due to the lack of accessibility to eye care! InFOCUS is working with Compassion International to set up reliable, affordable eyecare facilities in this part of Uganda.
